I have been using Asterisk @ Home on an old laptop and confugred it mainly
using AMP.

I am now trying to get things up and running using a Linksys WRT54GL using
OpenWRT.

Since this new version of Asterisk no longer uses AMP (which requires MySQL
and other pieces) I am wondering if I can still benefit from using FreePBX?
Can I still uses this on such a limited platform as the Linksys router? I
am not sure which components are required (MySQL and so on).

TIA,
Dave

Asterisk 1.09 fits on the wrtg54gl nicley but not 1.2 , there is not
enought room really to put many things on, if you do want to store
databases stuff, store it on another machine and have hooks into it.
***@home should go on the wrt54gl, it should be a purley manually
installed and trimmed version on it due to its limited space, if you can
load only the things you need youll have enought room to install qos
management packegs also.
